Last Post for the Year
1. Came home from work yesterday and discovered that Mr. Lula had been baking all day long. He made brownies, cut-out cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, and candy bar cookies. The day before he made a gingerbread house. Being laid-off for several weeks apparently turns my husband into a 1950's woman.
2. I took a shower today for the first time in 5 weeks!! How exciting is that? Our weekend warrior project o' doom is finally at an end and we get to enjoy the benefits. Pics to follow.
3. I got served on monday. A weird thing. The dude was nice about it, though. Meeting with a bankruptcy lawyer next week to get this mess cleared up. New Year's resolution is to wrap-up my personal injury claim and bankruptcy so, hopefully, I can enter 2010 with no lawyers on retainer.
4. Mr. Lula's sister Misty and her son Dylan are staying with us over the holidays. This is good. I like Misty, and Dylan is probably the kindest, best behaved child I've ever known.
