Coming home in less then 2 weeks!!
Ok so i have some nice things to post and one not nice thing.
1. I am coming home in only 2 weeks. That is so exciting. I can't wiat to get home and have decent food. I know that people always get offended b/c americans claim that america is the best. But i have to say that new zealand sucks for good food. You can get better food anywhere else in the world. That is the honest truth.
2. Last Sunday was Guy Fox day.I don't know that i spelled that correctly but that's beyond the point. Here's the great thing about guy fox day. They sell all kinds of fireworks, and b/c of less laws there is more options available. It's pretty great. Now you may be asking why do they celebrat guy fox day? New Zealand is still a common wealth of the great britain, or england or whatever they call it nowadays. psch i don't know. In anycase it turns out that this guy named guy fox lol sorry that made me laugh a second. actually went to parlaiment to try to free new zealand from english rule. as apparently you can tell he was unsuccessful, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get a day. LOL that's just great really. In anycase on guy fox day they have a great fireworks display on the beach. it was really cool. the only problem is that it only lasted 15 mins and it takes almost as long to get out of traffic as it does on the 4th of july in downtown indy. so i was a little dissappointed it was only 15 mins long, but i had never seen fireworks on the beach before and it was awesome. I have to say that's the only way to do it.
3. this girl who finally has moved off the floor tonite has the jerkiest boyfriend i've ever met. i swear he pissed me off soo much. i wish i had the balls to punch him in the face. more then that i wish anybody could have punched him in the face. i seriously wish this guy bodily harm. this girl kinda gets on my nerves but overall she's not too bad. but this guy oh man. being a pacifist i don't get this feeling often but today i did.
4. tomorrow morning i get to travel to auckland to see the north island. i'm sooo excited. it's gonna be amazing. i'm kinda sad i never got to walk on the glacier, but i'm sure that's for the best as i'm not very graceful. lol but yeah i'm happy w/my experience here. i've learned a lot of things about myself and i'm just really happy to be coming home.
i guess this was a long post but i must go now b/c i can take a shower now that not all the guys on the floor aren't crowded outside the bathroom. I love you all and i can't wait to get home. it's most likely that i may not post again until i get home just b/c i'll be too tired and lazy to do it.
