Ok, so call me selfish or whatever you want but I really think Universal Healrhcare is a positively ridiculous idea. Doctors will be overloaded with patients which will cause dangerous delays in getting life saving treatment to patients and will no doubt become more jaded and apthetic than most of them already are now.
Plus, how are we supposed to pay for this as a country? When we spend money, we have to cut it somewhere else. Even worse, taxes are either raised or new ones are created. People are already getting taxed enough and paying thru the nose for things as basic as milk. How are we supposed to pay even more for something so many of us work so hard to get?
