I'm excited! I figured out how to cast on. Now I just have to get my stitches right. I think I might actually be able to master this knitting thing!

Thank you! I'm so glad I haven't given into apathy as I usually do. I've been trying a bit each day to get at least a few stitches then pull them apart and try again the next day. I hope to see progress soon!

yay! I learned to knit a couple years ago- made a scarf but I had trouble casting off. So the needle is still attached...Methinks I will need to re-learn knitting. However, now that I've done it once it will be easier the next time. My aunt who is a veteran knitter says the chunky wavy yarn was not good for a beginner, but I didnt have a choice as I was taught & started it at a college group retreat and the person just bought what was on sale.
