First Computer?

I can't tell you how impressed I am! They've rebuilt an ancient Greek machine -- basically the first computer (that they know of; still waiting for them to sort through all the stuff they found in Timbuktu). They've been messing around with it since the 1950's and it took an amateur to figure it out. So cool.

I just love when people forget that they have no training in something and start from where they are. It makes me want to be that brave, intellectually. Oh, there's the link:
