Sleepy ramblings about this weekend?
So freaking tired. But in a good way.
5 soccer games this weekend. We didn't really have subs. And the other teams were beasts. I have soo many bruises on my shins/arms now.
But soccer is love. Like, seriously. I'm not sure if there's any time when I've been more happy playing it.
I met a lot of people, and got closer to the ones I already knew, so that was cool.
Friday Amy, parents, and I drove up to the tourny. Loong car-ride, but it was fun. Maine's a wierd state. There was also this huge car-derby race thing going on, so we hit some traffic. (I guess it was a big-deal race, cuz over 10,000 peeps showed up. =O.) But we made it for our game at 7:30, which we kicked some ass in. Then, since it was thundering, we slept in the school instead of camping. Haha, good times.
There was this big-ass Viking statue standing in a random hallway that we almost ran into playing sardines at 3 in the morning. We screamed so loud the [creepy-]janiter threatened to kick our asses. Whoops.
Swedish fish are offically [post-]midnight-snack love.
Saturday was amazing, besides the fact that our outside-middy broke her collar-bone in the second game. =(. (Which, btw, we lost. Lack of sleep, much?)
After our third game (win) though, our team ended up going to this gorge and jumping off some 30-foot cliffs into a river-thing. Mucho fun.
I even slid down the waterfall. =D.
Today we crushed the first team, then ended up beating the team that beat us Saturday. Yay for revenge.
I body slammed someone, lmao. Don't ask.
Then we drove back. Um, yeah. My life's pretty exciting. We had ice cream? And stopped at Family Dollar? Where things are more than a dollar?
I'm waay too tired to be making an LJ entry.
