Books and sports. And finals.

I finished To Kill A Mockingbird last night.
It's my new favourite book, I think.
It definitely deserves the recognition it's gotton.
I cried. I don't cry over books. Ever.

I have a soccer game in an hour. It better not thunderstorm. I wouldn't mind some light rain though, this 85 degree weather bites.

Amherst Pool died. It's kinda depressing, I've been going there my whole life, and my family's been going since we moved here about 20 years ago.
I guess some mud got in it because of the flooding, and so they drained the pool to get it out. They left it drained overnight, and the groundwater made the edge of the deep end float up about two feet...
Now it doesn't hold water, and the Country Club won't pay for it if the damages cost more than $100,000. Which they probably will.
So they'll just turn it into a parking lot.

The good news? Hampshire Hills is letting Amherst Swim Team practice at their pool. And we'll be members, so I'll get to rock climb and all that fancy stuff.
And can bring guests for only $10! =D.
So that's where I'll be most of the summer.

Summer had better hurry up though.
Finals this semester are going to suck:
I don't remember anything we've learned in World Studies.
Fenn says the average Honors Engligh Final grade in her class is a 70. I need a 100 to get at least an A- in that class. Why do finals have to be fucking 20% of our grades again?
Geometry should be easy at least.
Unlike Spanish. I hate my new teacher.

Anyway, should probably get ready for soccer now. Life's not really as bad as I make it out to be.
