Fandom Feedback Loop
Holy crap! So I may have just gotten an eentsy weentsy bit sucked into Sentinel fanfic over the past couple weeks (as I avoid the pit of despair called Reality), and while casting about for actual episodes on Youtube (cuz I'd never actually watched one before) I discovered there were very few, but there were some fanvids which might at least contain some of the pivotal scenes that were constantly being referenced in fic, and clicked on one called Voodoo, and it was very well edited, and the song was actually a lot of fun, and I found some of the scenes I was looking for, which was all well and good, until the credits came up and they informed me that the song was actually by Paul Gross - of fucking DUE FUCKING SOUTH!!!! And I was like HELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP - I'm trapped in a 90s Fandom Feedback Loop!!!!!!! Through sheer force of will, I managed to slam the cover of my tablet closed before my screams (or were they squees?) reached the ears of my sleeping roommate. Phew. Close call!! I might have been sucked in forever, never to emerge into the world where I actually work and pay bills and eat and stuff. Damn you, Internet. I knew you were bad for my health, but this was WAY to close! ;)
