I've been updating far too frequently, but I'm having fun with this program, so leave me alone...I can see myself updating a lot about school too. Boring, I know, but it will basically overtake my life soon.
Anyways, so French is going to kick my ass. It's really hard to keep up because there's so much random stuff that we learn each day, and there's homework every night, covering things we might not cover until the next day. Most def. the hardest part of it is how much she insists on speaking French. Almost the entire class period is spoken in the foreign langauge. I guess we were kinda babied in high school when it comes to stuff like that. It's kinda scary how lost I feel sometimes; but I still think it's my favorite class. I don't know how that works out, but whatever...
Okay, so chemistry is getting to be quite difficult. We were talking about alcohols today and determining the different priorities for sterochemistry, and the "genius" kid asked about what would happen if we didn't have an "O" but instead had an "F" or something..Haha, I don't even have the slightest clue of what's going on, but even I knew it was an irrelevant question. It's a freaking alcohol. Why wouldn't you have an O??? It probably wouldn't have irritated me if anyone else had asked, but he just bothers me. A lot.
Hmm..yeah, so I was gonna hit up sherif for that pool re-match today after class, if he didn't have anything else going on. But I didn't. I was kinda disappointed with myself. I've noticed that about myself, though: that I'm really horrible at initiating conversation. I guess I usually assume that people don't want to talk to me or hang out with me, so I kind of test them to see if they do anything. I was walking out with basically the entire class, not really talking to anyone, and Cory and Andy asked me if I wanted to go eat with them. The other people were like.."Yeah thanks for inviting us...." I don't know; none of them ended up coming. Haha, Cory suggested Chinese, which I was a little hesitant about because...well, it's Chinese...But it ended up being really good, surprisingly. I'm such a baby at trying new things, it's ridiculous. It was lots of fun, too, just hanging out with people that I usually don't. Apparently Cory's a regular there, so he taught us the ropes. We will have to do that again sometime. "Your future is bright": Man, fortune cookies are fantastic. We could even end up winning that bike drawing, you never know, lol...
