2nd to last friday/double journal entry

Yay, one more week in the "I just kicked your ass" section of this semester. Now I have just next week and then a couple finals during the following week, and I get to go home for semester break, which, I'd like to add, is only 3 weeks. I think that's a rip off. Buuuut, we supposedly get out a week or so earlier than most schools in May, which will be nice if such a rumor holds true.

So last night, at about 6 I went out and bough a book for my history test this morning, haha. Yea, a book quiz too. it was like a 180 page book and I basically punched it in the ovaries by way of skimming and speed reading, and I definitely showed that test a thing or two (surprisingly, I'm not using sarcasm in the latter portion of that sentence, for once).

the rest of my day was an onslaught of running back and forth and to classes. I went to anthropology from 8-9, office hours to work on my math from 9-10, history (book quiz) 10-11, group project 11-1:15ish, lunch 1:15-1:30, more math homework 1:30-2:30, math class(why else would I do math homework?) 2:30-3:20 oh yea, and there was a quiz in math... unlike the history/book quiz, the math quiz kicked MY ass... touche definite and indefinite integrals. Time was on your side just enough to prevent me from figuring out what the hell I was doing. It was great, by the end of me taking the quiz I felt like I knew how to do integrals, but I didn't have time to finish the problems, haha. oh well. after that I worked on my group project a bit more, and turned it in so that at 5pm, I was done.

so a little after 5 I went and jammed with my new-found friend Pete, who plays drums and has an apartment WITH drums. We played until like 9 or so, it was pretty sweet. Wrote a song, and recorded it on his camera, haha. yea, video taped me played the song so he would have a recording to work on the drumming some more. That has me pretty pumped, b/c we play pretty well together and will hopefully start a band in the very near future. basically yea... best thing about this week right there...

...but a close second would have to be my plasma donating yesterday, baaahahahaha. They messed up something on my chart last time so they had to take a blood sample again and they paid me $30 for that, and said to come back next week, when I'd have to get a physical again, but they would pay me $20 extra. So I wasn't happy about another physical, but I was quite pleased with all the free money. So while I'm there, I won "bed bingo" which means I won an extra $5, and a little cd-holder, hahaha. Oh, and since it was my 2nd time donating (successfully) I was going to be paid $30 anyway, as opposed to the normal $20. So basically yesterday I was paid $55. sooooo awesome.

(so I started typing this about 12hrs ago, and it was at this point in my journal entry that I became distracted, to return back to my dorm at approx. 4:30, and now it's 2pm. oh goodness...)

The events of last night:

I was outside chilling (literally and figuratively) when a girl comes up and is talking on her phone, yelling at her friends... sounded like some good fun. and I ended up lending her money for a cab, but she said she'd pay back double, haha. I have a feeling I just lost some money tho... way to go Me. Ok, nothing else was really that exciting I guess... it was just kinda interesting, and at times confusing. but I won't bore anyone with the details unless they wanna know.

Oh, but I have to say, I absolutely LOVE it when girls say this- "All guys suck... except you Luke." (insert sarcasm here) I'm not sure what I have to say about that, if you are one of my close friends (and I say this only b/c I have a feeling I won't lock this entry) then I don't think I have to explain, b/c you already understand. If you don't know me very well, then just think about why it would be ironic for a girl to say that. Also, if by chance the person that said that subsequently remembers despite your intoxication, don't worry, none of what I was/am saying has anything to do with you specifically, it's just convenient that you said a line I've heard 1000 times before and is symbolic with a larger pattern connected with my life. I would make the same entry if I heard it on TV.

I still babble and write too much.
