Man
Feeling kind of isolated.
The new Captain is good natured and all, but we do not see eye to eye on many aspects, and he’s the sort of guy who likes to get in verbal jabs whenever possible just to see how you’ll react. I think I’m going to racket up the professionalism, just to drown him out and make him stfu. Grr.
Had some hard times getting good communications with people in the rear. I still get a line from Dad every now and then, but missed mom 4 times of the last 5 attempts. Most of my email buddies are crazy busy, and Shanas been drugged up on percasat and morphine for the better part of a week.
::waves it off:: Just a little home sick, no big.
In my second week of classes online- yay classes. Hunting down the financial aid and all that jazz now to make sure everything’s on the up and up. I received confirmation from the Army that they paid for this current class, so that’s a really good start. I’m defiantly looking forward to knocking that out, moving on to bigger and better things.
Looks like DnD has a new computer game out currently, and a new one to be released soon; I’m very much interested. I hear that shadow-run for the X-box 360 blows, terribly unfortunate. No single player story mode at all. Still, between Fallout 3 and starcraft 2, I think I’ll be okay until Diablo 3 comes out sooner or later. It better damn well be sooner Blizzard! ::shakes fist!::
It’s funny, all the ideas I WAS going to use for multiple games of DnD, I’m now going to be using for writing. My play locally has died as my soldiers have been split to the four winds, and I just don’t see the online play happening, too much going on in peoples real lives. I feel like I’ve been sitting on these ideas forever and I want to move on to something else- empty out the pool so I can pull more in. SO, I’m going to see if I can integrate them in my play/writing with Emily. I may work up the nerve to share some of that one of these days, but I’m still pretty unsure. If anyone gets to read it, it’ll be Celeloriel. Other then that, all bets are off.
Well, I’m going to try and give my beautiful wife a call, see how she’s doing.
