Questions...and answers

So, lately my mind has mostly been bogged wth questions that I don't share with anyone. I don't share them because...well, actually I'm not sure. I think it relates to how others I know have been answered when they ask questions like these. Maybe because I don't trust any of the people around me to know where I'm coming from. If there was anything that is 'not good for God' then it would negate several of His supposed absolute qualities. If anything is not good for something, then it is inherently flawed and not capable of perfection.

Besides, the Hebrew texts suggest the angels were around before man. That's company....

The angels were servants. Man was created to be a companion. It's kind of like the difference between having a pet and being married. At least, that's how I always understood it.

Negating God's "absolute qualities" is something He does consistently, because He is so infinitely complex. Look at the act of salvation itself; Jesus, God's son, sent to earth to die in our place, satisfying the requirements of His justice and extending, in an act of love and compassion, a way to cross the chasm created by sin.

Regardless, you offer an undermining of my foundational postulates, without offering a replacement. Taking what you say directly, I'd be left in something of a vacuum of belief. What do you propose as an alternative?

buddhism and yoga, of course. Christianity has too many glaring flaws.
