Well, like a hen who is always looking after her eggs and chicks to see if they're alright. In this case it'd be friends.
I know, but you have to think a little more positive though even if things look their darkest.

I suppose. But, it's good to ask to see if they got there okay anyway. Everyone's strong and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't get where they were going safe...but I still want to ask. Just to be sure!

Nothing wrong with asking, but don't fret too much. I'm sure where ever they might be they're safe. I mean we made it out safely, so I'd like to think many others did as well.
I guess I would be doing the same thing just to make sure where my friends were.

If you forget to ask, people just vanish sometimes. If you stop asking, one day you might not notice somebody was gone..
