Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
Havent updated in a while so i might as well do it as im bored. Not a lot has been happening in the very recent past, but if you'll allow me to go back a week or so i did attend the big day out with an interesting mix of friends, and amazingly they all seemed to get on pretty well :-)... that is, with the exception of ellen and russell who now seem to officially dislike each other for whatever reason - something to do with russell using my phone to sms her i think - anyway, the best bands of the day, in decreasing order of skill and amazingness were: THE DANDY WARHOLS (brilliant band! currently my favourite in fact), The Darkness - the lead singer really put on a great show, and the black eyed peas made their best appearance of the day during their act: one in which they DIDNT SING or make any of those noises they seem to consider as 'music' thank god -, Magic Dirt (who only lost out to the darkness on account of that random last song they did which was too long and kind of odd - adalita or whatever her name is is awesome though, and kind of hot too, i really wish id been at the very front, i could have seen what she looked like up close when she came down to put her microphone into the audience), The Sleepy Jackson... any guy that can play a guitar with a knife and fork even remotely well has my vote!, luke steele dresses cool too.. the datsuns - i was impressed with MF from Hell, but all their songs are a bit samey... hmmm.. thats about it thats worth mentioning. i regret missing out on muse, jet and little birdy though - the first two i was prepared for as they were sacrifices i had to make ( to see the dandy warhols), but im still annoyed at missing out on lb for that 'thing' the flaming lips seemed to think was a live music act! i wont say anything more about the 'flips' because im fighting a losing battle there anyway.. but yeah.. cant believe i wasted my last hour so completely.
Hmm havent done much else, except ive decided im going to see placebo, ill get my ticket with you on.. monday was it magda? let me know... - and anne, im NOT only going to it so i can hold your camera for you ok? im not some sort of tripod for your convenience! but having said that, ill probably end up taking pictures for you anyway...ehhh
