(no subject)
Okay, so I havent updated in a while... I have had things to write about but usually only write in this during my work day and most the time it is during the morning. Anyways, work has been crazy lately... I mean there is always something to do but I actually have some deadlines on some projects right now... I have a couple Access projects I'm working on this week... One of them is due to be finished for the Court next week! It's not so much the tables/queries/Reports/Forms or even the VB/SQL programming involved that makes this to a pain... It's getting the reports to line up properly on some form provided by the state that is printed on an impact printer!
Amanda, got out of class early and came to surprise me on Wednesday again! Totally unexpected! I love her more than words can describe! The most amazing thing in the world is that she returns the same love and affection to me! She actually ended up buying me dinner on Wednesday night also!
Funny thing... I had already asked to have Thursday off of work so I could go see Amanda at work with some flowers! She ended up surprising me before I could surprise her! So anyway, I took yesterday off and went to surprise her at work... While I was at the florist she called me (on her lunch break) and I told her I was getting lunch... The people at the florist were all loud and talking about flowers obviously... I could have sworn she could hear this and that my surprise was going to be ruined... Nope, turns out she wasnt listening to what was going on in the background and I did get to surprise her at work!
I guess the party is Saturday not Friday... So, I am going out to Amandas tonight then the two of us are driving down together to the party. I'm kind of nervous meeting all of her friends...
I feel bad that I havent had money lately... I do get paid today and one of my roommates still owes me. I want to be able to take Amanda out right now but I have to wait until I get paid and get some bills out of the way. Strange as it may sound I am hoping my boss is right about our big cut over that we are doing next month! We are doing some big network cutover that needs to be done on a weekend to avoid having users on at the time. My boss seems to think that we might be looking at a couple of 16 hour days.... Hmmm 16 * [time + ½time] * 2 should come out to 48 hours of pay.... If that ends up being the case I would actually be very happy... Sure it would be the longest, hardest work week I would ever have to experience in the City of Progress but I think right now it would be worth it just this one time.
