Its that time of the month again, Time to update
I could go on all night boaring you with all the going-on's, but you probably dont want to read it, and i dont want to type it.
that sounded a bit harsher then i wanted it to, but there it stands. Moving on
I'm gonna come home this weekend, well, just friday night for homecoming stuff. I need to come home anyways to pick up some camping supplys for my geology field trip, so i figures might as well be this weekend. So this geology trip, the weekend of OCT 13th, we're driving up to some place in wisconson, gonna do some field work, what that is i'm not to sure, camp, bond, and come back on sunday. so that sould be fun. get a chance to get to know some of my fellow geology majors. by the way, being a geology major is shaping out to go just swimingly for me.
but anyways you're all probably asking yourself why i'm only staying friday night, why not stay saturday as well? good question, and i have a good answer. I'm going to be starting pledge stuff for the frat this weekend, technicaly sunday. but to get ready for the start of pledge, we're having a keg race satuday night. half the house vs the other half. my half will probably loose unless we get a good draft (yes, we have a draft, for the guys not living in the house.) on top of that i have some other plans for satuday night that have the potential to go very well if i do say so myself.
so i've been living in the house for a little over a month now. Really enjoying that. my floor is pretty great. i lucked out and got a sweet room which was made that much sweeter when my parents come down, cleaned it, put in new carpet, and a few other random things. its pretty sweet, now alls i need is a couch, and maybe a TV, although we've been getting by watching 24 on my computer. Which by the way, me and dan have been watching at every chance. we need to get through 4 more seasons untill January, when the new one begins. to be blunt, Kiefer Sutherland is my Nick Cage.
I'm really excited to start pledgeship, or whatever. We got a couple pretty sweet dudes, and a bunch of other dudes i dont really know. but i'm not the only junior, one of the guys brother transfered this year, so thats cool, he pretty much a sweet dude.
lets see, what else. i shaved for the first time in probably half a year a few days ago. Its always fun seeing someone for the first time when you have short hair and a clean face when the last time they saw you, you were mistakin for a hobo, a hobo who just stole some clothes from a college kid.
Happy B-day to out good friend bo. I almost got myself into trouble with that kid, i called him at 11:59, just bairly making his b-day. He would gone on a personal vendeta against me had i missed it. i'm not gonna lie, i get scared just thinking of it...
but you know what makes me a little less scared? the sweet airsoft gun (or whatever the hell you want to call it) that we bought last night. and on that note, ER's here suck. i know what you're thinking, we allready shot eachother in the eye. but thats not it. me and crappy had to take kelby to the ER last night because HE GOT A FEAVER OF A HUNDRED AND THREEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anywho, we had to wait about 3 and a half hours just to have the doctor give him a strep test and a perscription for some penacillin. now i'm no Dr. Quinn Medicin Women, but i have had a few strep tests done, they take 5 freeking minutes. i mean my god, i probably could have told him he had strep. but that was a pain in the ass. but then it was all made better by buying a pair of bb guns and shoting them at eachother while watching federal agent Jack Bauer save the world from Bosnian Terrorists.
So you can probably disregard that first comment of mine. but lets be honest, you all want to know every aspect of my life. its ok, i understand. It's no big deal, but I'm kind of a big deal.
