I'm lost...

I feel like I'm lost. Well, I suppose I should say that I know I'm lost, I just don't know how that happened. The Professor and I were on a train, and I must have nodded off--but now he's gone.

And I'm here. Alone.

It's awfully dark for the middle of the day...and I think that I heard something from that little s-side-street. I don't see ( Read more... )

I would highly recomend you avoid dark places and find a building to stay in for now. The city is very dangerous at night.

Sadly everyone is lost when they arive here.

As for recomending... it depends on where you are. There are buildings on Latimir, Horton, and Marshall. There is also the high school which is located between Marshall and Ingles at Lander.

Do you know where you are right now?

I think I see a sign that says Lander Boulevard. There's a roundabout just in front of me, but I can't see any other signs from where I'm standing.

If the high school is on Lander, should I just walk straight ahead? It is getting rather d-dark..

Oh...hello, sir. I don't mean to sound rude at all, but...how do you know my name?

[Because I'm not in contact with the other person who played Luke, I'm essentially going to act like he has no recollection of his earlier time in Discedo whatsoever...I hope that doesn't bother you X_x;]

You know Professor Layton, don't you?

[ooc; no worries, that's fine! that's how it goes when new people pick the characters up anyway :)]

... I see. My name is Miles Edgeworth. It's a pleasure. Have you found shelter yet?

Hello Mister Edgeworth, it's nice to meet you. The Professor here, and he says he's going to come find me.

Professor! [He let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding] I see a sign that says Lander Boulevard, and a big roundabout. It's getting dark..which direction should I start walking in..?

Stay right there. I'll come get you -- if you see anything else, run away. I'm afraid there are rather hostile creatures out there.

Excuse me, are you lost? You shouldn't stay in the streets.

Hello Miss! I'm Luke Triton, and it's nice to meet you. What's your name?

Oh--and I was lost, but the Professor came and found me, so now I'm less lost than I was before. Him knowing where he's going doesn't mean I know exactly where I am, though.

sadly enough, everything she's saying about Discedo sounds like another Layton game premise |DDD dustedsunlight November 9 2010, 05:00:44 UTC
I'm Namine. It's nice to meet you as well, Luke.

Well... you're in a city called Discedo, on another planet. There's a lot of monsters on the streets, so you don't want to stay outside unprotected!

These people known as scientists brought you here. They control everything, but we can't talk to them... or at least they won't talk to us if we try.

It does. It really, really does. luke_triton November 9 2010, 15:59:41 UTC
I won't. The Professor told me not to go outside for long, either. But I do want to learn how to fight the monsters--just in case. Someone told me they can also come inside, too..

It's not very nice of them to ignore us. They did bring us all the way here!
