Happy New Year but now I can't cheer for now
My New Year's was safe. Bought Sparkling Cider for $2 something at Lucky's and stayed at home with my sis and mom watching tv, drinking the cider and sharing a cheesecake.
Most of my day was spent celebrating my grandma from my dad's side's birthday (not her actual birthdate) and thus being a New Year's party also. I joined my sister at admitting that planning it on New Year's was kinda a bad date but at least parking at the curb today was free (blast you $3/hr). Met a lot of cousins and relatives and it was fun but there was too much food and I couldn't eat halfway into the dinner. Spent some time after chilling with mom side cousins. I'll admit I'm generic because of the next part.
Came back home to find some bad news. 1 was finding out that the accident we drove by of early in the morning at 101 on Tully while going to SF had a fatality. I saw what I saw (and "someone") and suspected the worst. The other is sad enough and thus I'm just done with this day and hope for day 2 to be better (Though technically I found out the bad news on Day 2 since it was just after midnight).
