Man, am I ever in a good mood! When out with friends last night to celebrate one of their birthdays! Had an AWESOME time. Although I didn't get home until 12:00. Then I had to be up at 5:50 so I could be at school for choir at 7. So, obviously I didn't get much sleep! Although I wasn't tired for some unknown reason.
What really amuses me at choir is the fact that one of the songs we are singing at commencement is God Save Our Gracious Queen. I mean honestly, its Canada so technically we don't have a queen! So I have no idea why we are singing it. I mean the instrumental teacher/band conductor is from England but I don't think that would be a good reason to sing God Save Our Gracious Queen. I do kind of like the piece, but that doesn't mean I understand why we are singing it. At first when I found out we are going to sing God Save the Queen I thought that meant we would be singing The Lord Bless you and Keep You and I wasn't happy about that, since we always sing it at commencement. I found out though that we will still be singing it at commencement which I'm glad about.
