Insanely talented!!! My Friday night :D
Allright..so friday started out like any other day.. just Joe.. sittin around at work, waitin for the day to end. Why? Not just because it was friday.. but becasue i ws going to see a show over at Copley Symphony Hall. So. Im sittin around.. had to do some overtime. so it was a long day.. but at least there was work to do.. so that certainly made it a little better. Then I got off.. and went downstairs to play a few games of pool.. because i need the practice! Ive changed my stroke a little.. not to mention ive been trying to work on my break (im brekaing with a closed bridge now.. i think its working better) Then I went to go get some food. Ended up going over to Croutons (think that ws the name) It was kind o flike a panera.. I had an awesome panini.. it was a three-cheese and pesto, but i had them add some roast beef.. ooohh very good!
Then i went over to my friends house because she was gonna drive. We sat around a little.. chatted with her roommate. Then we took off.
Who did we go to see?
Savion Glover!!!!
Angie didnt even know who he was.. and apparently alot of people i know.. have no clue who he is.. but whatever. She said she liked it..she didnt sound to excited.. but i got to hangout with her and introduce her to something new.
So onto the show!
We were sitting off to the right side of the stage, it was cool because no one was sitting to me right.. so that was good. Though the people behind us were a little annoying.
Then the music started. And out comes Savion! He is so talented. Not to mention the fact that he must be in amazing shape.. to go out and tap for 2 hours! For the first like.. 80 min or so.. it was all to calssical music.. which ws just amazing. Then near the end.. he introduced everyone that was playing.. i think there were about 8 people? each person would play a solo and savion would accompany them. There were a few violin players, a few on viola, piano, bass, flute/horn, drums.
Then they closed with a number called.. stars and stripes here and now.. very cool!
I really dont know what else to say or how to really describe it.. so here is where i end. Then we went back to her place.. wtched a movie.. and i went home and passed out.
