I know, right? I thought the same thing. And that twist totally destroyed any trust that had been developing between Carver and Miller. Of all the people that could have understood, it would have been Carver; look at what he did to protect his daughter. He lied and took the fall to protect his ex's career and to preserve the respect of his daughter towards her mother. Miller didn't trust him enough to confide. The whole thing was an accident, Tom was trying to protect his friend from his father. He didn't set out to kill anyone. A case could have been made, or they could have left it alone since Joe was the catalyst for all of this anyway ( ... )

I hasn't thought of the comparison between Carver's lie and Miller's. I think Joe was trying to save his own skin, not his son's. I'm not sure what Miller is trying to pull, she should know better, she's going to make it worse for her son if she hides what his part in this was. How was he supposed to give a full testimony with his father sitting next to him?

DT's accent did improve toward the end, it was so monotone and low at first. Decoy Bride is silly but I prefer it to Escape Artist and hated Politician's Husband. I would recommend Spies of Warsaw, but it sounds like you would like Secret Smile.

I watched Secret Smile once, and that's all I can take. His character was really creepy.

Yeah, creepiest role he's played to date. I think i've watched that twice, it was more than enough.
