I've added
gawariel to my Live Journal. She had me laughing so much with her tales of some of the names parents in Belgium burden their children with. Love you Nyx. :D
Hubbie is out again tonight - it's a good thing that I like my own company! If I didn't before, I would have learnt to by now. There's a saying amongst muso's(musicians)- "Once a muso, always a muso". And how true that is.
When my children were young, it wasn't so much fun - he used to go and play in a band most weekends, starting with Friday nights. Again, I never used to mind too much, what did bother me though, was when we made arrangements to see friends and family, his band would get a booking for that night and I would have to go alone with the children or he would leave me with the visitors that we had invited over for the day. When he was out Christmas Eve and New Year's was the worst.
Things came to a head, we had some 'discussions', and he gave up band work for a while. Once I realised just how much he love it though, he started again but with the proviso that once we had made an arrangement, he would book himself out of band work for that night. Oh, and keep Christmas Eve for the family. We still do that to this day.
Anyway, so long as there is my computer here, a good programme on the television (or a DVD to hand) then I'm fairly happy about it. Last night he came home at about 4.30 AM to find me still sitting here at the computer, updating a certain character's smilie.
I have my hobby too!!!!!
