Happy Mothers Day! <3
To my lovely, fantastic mom - happy mothers day. ♥ I'm so thankful for everything you've always done for me, and everything you're still doing for me every day, all the time, always. I love you. ♥
It's been such a great day, all in all. Great weekend, even. :) Yesterday I met up with sassy_86 and watched the Eurovision Song Contest at my place. We had delicious Japanese curry for dinner and crepes and candy and pistachio-buns for dessert. It was yumm! ♥ I'm pretty happy with the country that won - I think Germany had a different, interesting song and the singer's voice was different and nice! There were no songs I really fell for though, this year - but I thought most of them were at least okay! ^^
And today I went home to my mother quite early in the morning to surprise her on Mothers Day. I brought a present and a white-chocolate-cake. The present was a wooden african-mask; she collects them and I was lucky to find one I was certain she didn't have so... yay! ^^ She got very happy so that made me happy too. :) My little sister was there too, and later on my younger brother also arrived and it was nice to spend time together, all of us. We had some cake and then we went to a wallpaper-store to looka t wallpaper for my brother. And then we went to have lunch at a Greek restaurant. Gyros+Tzatziki YUMM! *_*
Then I went home to my dad's place and spent some time there. I met his new girlfriend and she seemed like a very nice person, so that was a relief. XD And then me, my brother, dad and his gf had a bbq later in the evening. And now I'm back home again.
Today's been such a relief to me, somehow. I haven't felt completely all right ever since my parents got divorxed because I've been worrying and wondering about how things will turn out... but I think that today, for the first time, I felt like everything is all right, even though things have changed. ^_^ And also now that I've gotten a new job and that also feels good and I'm slowly getting the hang of it and things there are also working out well so far... I feel like I'm in a good place in life right now. I feel happy. ^^
