It's already Sunday evening. O_O I can't believe how fast the weekends go by... X_X Yesterday I first went to SPX (Small Press Expo), where I met up with
lady_eleihna. SPX isSwedens biggest convention/fair for comics and such, held at Kulturhuset in Stockholm.
lady_elehnas class had all made their own comics and since she is awesome and lovely, of course I had to buy her comic "Dessert", a story told only in pictures about a girl eating until she explodes... sort of. XD
You can actually see her comic over
HERE! at her DeviantArt-account. She is so so talented and I am so jealous; I wish I could draw like that!! ^_^~♥
It was great to see her again, even if it were only for a super-short while, and it was interesting to go there and look at all the comics and fanzines! I hadn't expected the convention to be so big, and I hadn't at all expected there to be so many manga-inspired drawings and comics there! ^^ I wish I had some photo's to show you but I've been failing toremembering taking pics lately... :/
After the SPX-event, I went to meet my mom, her friend, and my brother and his girlfriend. My little brother just bought his first apartment so he's looking for furnitures and things for it right now, so we all went to IKEA in Kungens Kurva to look around. ^^ After that I met up with
sassy_86 and together we went to see the new "super-hero" flick, Kick-Ass. I was actually surprised at how fun it was! I didn't have any expectations at alls icne I didn't even knew what it was about... but it was really amuzing and a bit strange. But I quite liked it. ^^ Not the best movie ever, maybe, but I enjoyed it.
Today I spent with my mom again; we went shopping in Stockholm - I found both a new pair od shoes, a new bikini that i absolutely LOVE and a few dresses... I like! ^_^V
I also want to buy a bike... since I think it'll be perfekt to start taking the bike to my new job once I start there! I think it'll be even quicker than going there by the subway so... I really want one. I'm trying to get my dad to buy me one, but he doesn't really seem that into the idea.
But this one is a bit expensive, though. So I think I might buy one that's a little cheaper... ^^; I don't want to spend too much on a bike!
And now I'm off to watch The Da Vinci-Code, or whatever it's called. I've never seen it, and I once started reading the book but if I remember correctly I never finished it? I guess I got bored with it or something? ^^;
