Went to see La Cage aux Folles on a theatre in Stockholm on Saturday. It was amazing. I haven't seen it before, either as a live musical, nor the movie adaption Birdcage. A story about a homosexual couple owning a transvestive club in France's entertainment neighbourhood. One of them. Albert, is the diva la extraordinaire at the club and everything is fine and dandy until their son comes home and wants to introduce his fiancee. The fiancee has an ultra conservative father who is a politician running for president. And the son wants their parents to meet... and thus they try to tone down their club and much hilarities ensues. It was honestly amazing - nice songs, AWESOME dancers, and a fun, sad, beautiful and heartwarming story. I really enjoyed it! ♥
The theatre visit was a birthday present for my mother and it was great to see her enjoy it a lot too. I thought I had bought tickets for first row on the first balcony, but when we arrived we found out we were in the absolutely first seat there was, so we were right by the stage. XD Which was so much fun, because we got eye contact with the dancers (I was crushing on one of them so much, he was sooo insanely beautiful. *_*) and we got to interact wit them for a bit - my mom got s long stroke across her face from the lead's feather boa! Hilarious! XDDD
Anyway, A+ show!! So happy we went! : DDD
When I got home today I had a slip that told me I had something to pick up at the post office, so headed over there and... yeeey, porn! *___*
Takitsuba porn that the loveliest
pinkpapyrus helped me require at a douijn con in Osaka last weekend. THANK YOU, KYAFACE, YOU ARE THE BESTEST! m(______)m Didn't even open them yet, but will (try to) read them tonight! *____*
As for what else I am now looking forward to the next episode of Takki!Journey! the last episode was honestly the best thing I have ever seen. I have never seen such a cute, wibbly boy ever! His total panic when realizing he wouldn't be able to sleep in a hotel during his trip. XDDD Was chatting to a friend in Tokyo a little while ago and she told me he is trying to set up a tent in the episode that aired a couple of hours ago, I CAN NOT WAAITTT!
All in all I'm totally impressed with the concept of this show - it's such a GREAT idea. Yesterday I watched through all of Kitayama's journey through India and it was SO cute. And I was so impressed by how much he really seemed to grow up during these 8 days; he did really good. And I felt so sorry for him when he got food poisoned. ♥
I look forward to when the dvd box of Takki!journey will be released! *____* AWESOMEEEEE . And so so happy that Tsubasa is also in it, and I think he really takes his job as an interviewer seriously. I hope, hope, hope this will open new possibilities for them to finally get a unit bangumi. HELLO, TV COMPANIES OF JAPAN, I HAVE LOADS OF GREAT IDEAS! Date-cooking show for example - takitsuba giving ideas for how to set up different kinds of perfect dates. Cooking (Tsubasa's speciality - it'd be sad if someone just a big block of 6 kg ham to eat on a date!), setting the table, talk topics you can prepare, presents to bring (Takki's special area of expertise, of course!). Then in the end takitsuba will go on the date they've prepared. Another idea is travelling cooking show (it'd seem like I just really really really want to see takitsuba in aprons...) they'd get to travel around the world and try out the local cuisine, and then try to cook it themselves. (I also really really really want to see Tsubasa boss around Takizaaa in a kitchen!). I could also live with them going on a joined J's Journey. I wonder where I'd want to send the two of them if I could choose... hmm...
