(short report) Takey & Tsubasa 10 anniversary concert, Sendai 2012.09.13
I'm in Sendai right now, hitting up a internet cafe together with pinkpapyrus, since the concert ended too late for us to make it to the last shinkansen back to Tokyo/Kansai. FINALLY SOME INTERNET TIME!
AND WHAT A CON IT WAS! They were so rabu rabu - like not in the touchy-feely kind of way but they were smiling so much and you could just tell how much they were enjoying themselves. Tsubasa wouldn't stop smiling like a goofball, and he reduced Takki to a giggling mess on the floor several times.
They both look so good right now. Tsubasa's hair is getting really long now - he can put it up in a ponytail now and it looks sooo good on him. He didn't shave though but I didn't even mind, I'm so far gone at this point I can't even... Tsubasa is also super fit, so he must be working out (or probably just dance practising) a loooot. Not to mention all the sexing he must be doing with Takizaaa, considering how insanely in love they're acting right now. lolol)
They did a bunch of new songs - Yapopiposomethingsomething or other, they sang their new love song to each other (they even said at one point that the song is very "real" in the sense that it's about them or something omggg be sappier boys ;______;) They also did a new song called something like "Anniversary T&T" which was sort of instead on Aishiteru ze T&T I guess. Erm, what else what else...
The setlist was great, and they went through most of their hit songs, with a focus on quick songs. The only slow songs they sang were the Kizuna one, True Heart (♥) and Epilogue by the end.
Oh, and theiy sang their solo's (Kiseki and Get Down) together, but as rock versions. XD
And now everything is getting reaaaaaaally fuzzy because....
Handshake event.♥♥♥Seriously. ♥♥♥
pinkpapyrus emailed me in the morning when I was on the shinkansen on my way here that she'd heard they'd ha a handshake thingy at Fukushima yesterday. I had a minor panic attack on the train, hyperventilating for a bit but then managed not to think about it. Somehow decided it might've probably been just Fukushima because of all the... things that's happened.
So the concert ended, and it was really quick for a takitsuba con - only around 2 hours and 20 minutes or so (takitsuba con are always longer than three hours, sometimes even up to 4 hours long.) And then there is the word, and everyone frantically starts pulling out their bags to get their mirrors and make up and whatnot. Handshaking.
4you came out amusing all of us sitting down as they were emptying the (tiny - only 2000 seats) hall section by section. It was so nervewrecking to sit there and waiting, waiting waiting. As the handshaking event started, though, they started filming it. takitsuba was standing close to the exit, Takki wearing dark jeans with some kind of sparkly mark on it, and the white con T-shirt. Tsubasa was wearing dungarees/overalls and a modified white con t-shirt. (They were wearing the same things for the encore which was sooooooooo strange btw. but amusing.)
ANYWAY. they're filming as fans walk past them and they shake everyone's hands and saying arigatou to them and they looked sooo beautiful, both of them. *____*
As my section went up to leave - me and pinkpapyrus weren't in the same section, but still pretty close to each other - I was soooo stressed out I didn't know what to do wth myself omg. X__X Luckily, though, Kya found me as soon as her section was let out of the actual concert area. The line was slowly starting to get closer and closer, and we discussed taking a run for it. But of course we didn't because even if it is terrifying of course it is also exactly there we want to be.
Anyway, they've been shaking a LOT of hands and to tell the truth they weren't looking terribly amused. As everyone knows Tsubasa isn't that... erm... generous with his smiles. LOL. So they're standing there, shaking hand after hand after hand smiling poilitely and saying "arigatou", and then me and Kya comes up (Kya went first) - Tsubasa's very own army of crazy gaijin stalker fangirls - and he brightens up LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE IT. It sounds terrible to say myself but his smile just changed and turned around completely and there was this HUGE BEAMING SMILE with recognition in his eyes and he took my hand and said "Thank you!" in English and it was the most perfect moment of my LIFE. No joke.
HE LOOKED SO HAPPY, I CAN'T EVEN... No wonder Takki does ANYTHING for him, because to be on the recieving end of that smile... Tsubasaaaaaa~~~♥♥♥
It felt like Tsubasa finally was like, "YOU TWO CRAZY FOREIGNERS HAVE NOW PROVEN YOURSELF THAT YOU ARE WORTHY BY SEEING ALL THE THINGS I AM IN, I AM REALLY HAPPY SO I'MONNA SMILE AT YOU NOW!" And then he did and ahhhh that smile~~~~
And then of course there was Takki and ahhh that beautiful, tiny little man! He is sooo tiny and god, he looks just as beautiful in real life as he does on pictures. And even though his smiles aren't as difficult to get as Tsubasa's they're still pretty damn special. Gorgeous, gorgeous human being. I came up to Takki and he also smiles a smile of recognition at me and he also says thank you in the cuuutest Engrish way like, "Sank Yoo!" or something and I was dyiiinggggggg because they're both so insanely perfect.
How can they be real, even?
These smiles are just so so precious to me. It felt like they were really really happy to see me there again, which might be super silly to say but they definitely DID recognize me and they really DID smile completely different and SUPER bright smiles! And if I can make THEM happy, even for just a second or two, by being there.... every crazy trip, the insane amounts of money and all the other crazy shit I do for them.... are definitely worth it. More than worth it. After all the happiness they've brought me these past +7 years...
Oh god, Tsubasa's smile. I can totally understand how Takki does EVERYTHING at all times to make Tsubasa happy... I'd also rent him Tokyo Dome for a birthday party to make him smile at me like that. *________*
ANYWAY. That wasn't as short as I was planning it to be, and I really need to try and get at least a few hours of sleep since tomorrow is my last day in Tokyo! :3333
Takitsuba, thank you so much for today, it was so special and I am so thankful for you two for treasuring your fans and doing things like this for us. I love you both so much. ♥♥♥
Most random for the day though - I think we might've seen Tsubas pretend? trying to? jerk off on stage. Several times. Need to process this more. OMG. O___________O
