Kolmården zoo!

Jul 03, 2012 20:44

As I already mentioned in my last few posts, me and my mom, D-san and her mom and 4 year old son went on a day trip to a zoo on Saturday. It was an absolutely lovely day and of course I went crazy with my camera. I wanted to post at least a few of the photo's I took, but then I realized that I couldn't narrow the photos down any more since I fell so in love with so many of the animals. ♥♥♥ That means that it will be lots of pictures behind the cut. XD

This was the first animal we saw:

The lynx. This is papa!lynx, he was so handsome. :3 And there was two LYNX BABIES AHHHHH me and D-san wanted to steal them. One each. They were so fuzzy and cute and adorable and kept slipping on the wet moss with their short chubby legs. I sadly didn't manage to get any photo's of them at all, I was flailing too badly when they were out so I forgot about the camera lololol.

We were there for about 9 hours, and I was flailing in a falsetto for about 8.5 hours of the time at all the adorable fuzzy

Camel and camel baby! *______*

Hilarious elephant moment!

When we arrived these two elephants had just managed to break the water hose. The one on the front was waving it up and down and was obviously having the time of his life with the mischief they'd caused.

Since he was banging the hose against the ground, the staff pretty soon heard something was going on and came walking towards the elephants. And the hilarious part - you could see the elephant go "uh-oh" in his mind, since he immediately started slamming the hose all over the place and instead started backing away... exactly the way a dog would do if they'd been caught doing mischief.

Staff-san came in shaking his head but still looking amused. All he said was, "GIVE!" while he put out his hand. He refused to bend down to pick it up - the elephant was supposed to give it to him. Proper upbringing, lol.

The elephant gave him the hose and looked really ashamed for a while. The staff loudly called the elephant "Bandit!" and then pinched the elephant lightly and then took the hose and left and you could tell he was so amused by it. XD It was like he had the biggest pet in the history of ever and he knew exactly how to handle him. XDDD

Living my dream life. Alone on a deserted island! *___*

Poser!Monkey!
We also went on the safari ride which was made as a ropeway. It was amazing and and a really nice experience.

Absolutely gorgeous lioness!

While we were going over the bears, the speaker voice said something like, "Don't see any bears on the ground? Look beside you in the trees!"
And I was all, "WTF, they can climb???? ;____;" and then a second later ->

One of my absolute favorites - the tigers! I have a thing for big cats. Tigers, lions, leopards, cougars. They're all lovely. But the tigers... there is something special with them. They were just feeding this one. ^^

And here it is. My absolute favorite of all time! レッサーパンダ. Lesser Panda! Red panda! They are the cutest thing EVER. Like a mix of a racoon and a fox, but a gazillion times more cute and fuzzy. ;______;

This little fellow had fallen asleep far up in a tree, on a branch.

Far up.

♥♥♥

Soooo cuuuteeee!!! *flaaaaiiillllsssss~*

I really really really want one.

I got a friend! He was so friendly and cute!

There is only one single reason for this photo being up here. Because it reminds me of Tsubasa. And everyone who's seen the Matsui Daisuke/Tsubasa DVD will know why.

Hi! Hi, friend!
