It's all about the food!
My wonderful friend D-san's birthday was on Friday and we had decided to celebrate by having a complete food-orgy with only Japanese food! We went shopping for ingredients for all the Japanese delicacies we could find! It was so much fun and we spent most of Friday after work cooking in her kitchen! ^^ We had, well, pretty much everything. We made sukiyaki, gyoza, we had edamame, wakamegoma, different pickles, umeshu, macha icecream, different daifuku's, sashimi... surprisingly enough (not!) we couldn't finish even half of it - not even with the help of her brother, lol! XD
My first set of gyoza for that night, though, got stuck in the pan and it's STILL annoying me, even though the second batch turned out okay. LOL. Need to try to do it again, asap to try and get a better result this time. Despite gyoza mishap, it turned out very nice and we were super pleased (and oh-so-very full) afterwards!

After that home-made tabehoudai, the rest of the weekend has been spent in a rush of fangirl-galore with Mi-san visiting me again! We had a Johnny's weekend and watched tons and tons of stuff! It's so lovely to introduce new fans to things since it is also a chance for me to rewatch old videos and clips and stuff that I haven't even watched for YEARS! Among a gazillion other things we watched the Johnny's Sports Day from 2003 and no matter how many times I watch it I just... can't get over how insanely beautiful Tsubasa was that day! He looked absolutely perfect and the hair and the body and the face and the everything. Umai!

And next weekend is fully packed as well. Me and a bunch of my friends (and their friends!) are holding a Hanami in a park near to where I live. Everyone is bringing japanese food and snacks and we will gaze at the (two) beautiful pink cherry trees there is in that park. I'm super excited but have absolutely NO idea what food or snack I should make... hmm... we'll see, we'll see. Need to buy wakamegoma either way because that is my new favorite. And I am thinking about making a NY style cheesecake but to add macha-powder to it. We'll see! ^^ At least therese_chan is coming too and I am sooooo excited to finally get to spend proper time with her again!! ♥♥♥
In other news I am also insanely lovesick after takitsuba. It's almost painful how much I miss them... I'm surprised, because it usually feels like this just a few days after I've attended their concerts or butai's, but it just suddenly hit me right now instead, while I haven't had any particular lovesickness after I attenede the event a month ago. Maybe it's because we've watched so many clips with them these past two days that it suddenly just hit me that I have no idea when I'll be able to see them again. I miss them. ;__; Life is so difficult... ^^;
