earthbound advance
well i'm shocked!
i remember receving my copy of earthbound for my birthday one year back when i lived in warren it was for the super nintendo, i believe it was the second time i knew a game was a special one just by looking at it, the first time was when i first seen the legend of zelda with it's gold cart,
months before i receved my copy of earthbound all i knew about the game is some clpis i read here and there in the nintendo power magazine, and that hauntingly huge box mocking me from the glass windo at the eletronic boutique at the universial mall!
years later, i still like to see what the folks at starmen.net are up too, formally earthbound.com they were the first to start a giant patition insisting that nintendo port earthbound zero to gbc, (with no luck)(so i suppose they changed thier website name do dissoate themselves with earthbound because most of them undoubitly concider themsleves "mother" fans now)
anyway, why am i shocked?, well because i found that earthbound freaks arn't just limited to myself and hundreds of people on the net, but i am amazed to find that my friends have been closet earthbound fans for years and i never knew!
with that said, nintendo of japan has alredy released an earthbound title in japan for gameboy advance called "mother 1+2" (i prefer "earthbound anthology" or "earthbound all stars")and are 2 mere days away (4/20) from releasing mother 3 (earthbound advance) in japan, without a usa launch in sight not only letting down millions of fanboys once again, but now my friends...
as for me, to import or not to import? even after years of pokemon.. i can't reas a speck more japanese as i could back when i first picked up my first nes controller, not only that meijers just isn't paying my bills anymore, oh well... perhaps i would have picked up the rom if i still had an m3... back during the n64 erra people critized nintendo, because it didn't seem to have the 3rd party support, but at least it delivered, emulation never seemed an option for me!, but times are a getting rough!
