Hmmm...
Well, this is a new experience; I've never babbled online in a journal before, and I really haven't decided quite what I'm going to do with it.
I mean, the options are endless. I could write poetry (I've done that before, but nothing was really good or sane), short stories (Dillon does that, could be fun), or just babble much as I am doing now. Hmm... that seems like a decent idea.
By the way, I'm now on page 482 of "Battle Royale" by Koushun Takami. This is arguably the most kickass book I have ever read. Besides the Chrichton-esqe writing style (Takami really knows his guns), its subject is just psychotically morbid enough to really appeal to me.
Nothing like a story about a bunch of people being forced (for the most part) against their wills to kill each other in a sadistic government-run contest. Oh, yeah. They're all 14 or 15.
So far, of the 42 that started the game, 16 are left. And counting. And counting.
For anyone I've entranced with this so far, go ahead and buy it. It's awesome. There's this great part with a psychopath with an ingram and a homemade bomb that'll...ahem... blow you away.
Anyway, I guess that's it for now. I don't have much to say, yet (again, this is my first BLOG entry), but I'm sure I'll come up with something eventually.
