(no subject)
OK so yesterday was the first day of class...So, my history class wasn't that bad, a girl (Kasia) that I had two classes with last semester is sitting next to me, just like last semester. And a guy I used to be in Players with is in there too. And we didn't have a real lecture...it was just the introductory lecture where she introduced herself and we all had to go around and introduce ourselves to her. Tomorrow is our first real lecture, in a weird nerdy way I can't wait. Then I went to lunch with Michelle and Angela. I had to leave early to go to class, Historical Archaeology. So, that class is like 3 hours straight so we had an introductory lecture about what Historical Archaeology is exactly and then we went to Marrs McLean (where the whole department has moved, now that we are a real major). Well we went to our new classroom where we will meet for now on and we put on gloves and sorted through some trash that our teacher had collected in Temple from different areas (rich, middle, poor) and tried to see what we could find out about the people that dumped it out. It was really disgusting.
Alright. Today I had Mythology (with Michelle) and we actually had a lecture which was nice.
When I got back to my room, I got a letter that said that I had been written up for a policy because I have a toaster and a blender. I have to make an appointment to go speak with her tomorrow. Apparently I am going to be fined or whatever. I didn't even know that I couldn't have that stuff. Tonya says that it was covered in the meeting at the beginning of the semester, but I didn't go to that meeting. And, they didn't pass anything out to everyone saying what we could have or not. There is a list online, but it doesn't list a toaster or a blender. It talks about a toaster oven, but that is like a mini oven with a door and knobs and stuff. I have a toaster, with two slots and a little button that you push down and it pops up the toast and the heating element. I will post after the meeting. This pisses me off...
