Oi, what a mess.

For quite a few years now (4), I have debated with myself over what exactly I really wanted to do with S.R. ...what, precisely, might you need an editor to do for this? Depending on what all it involves, I might be up for it-- or even if the /whole/ thing ends up being too much for me, I could at least help out as much as possible? |D I tend to be good at thoroughly critiquing things while still being nice about it (I want to be a middle school English teacher-- it's kind of a neccessry attribute). So if you want, I can help in some way or another? |D

Well...a few things really.

Firstly, someone to bounce the ideas off of to begin with, who's willing to look at it (without shrugging it through from bias of being nice XD), and make sure everything makes sense to begin with...and that the characters are interesting, etc and so forth.

Secondly, someone willing to help in terms of transforming it into an actual script, making sure things are reading in a way that makes sense, and gets things across as a decent pace.

Essentially it just requires someone willing to read through a lot of nonsense and say, "What the hell were you on that made you think this part here could even possibly be a good idea?" XP

So basically... being a brainstorm-buddy and later a proofreader, and pointing out anything that doesn't make sense or sound right?

I bet I could do thaaat. 83 If you'd like me to, I'm more than willing to~ (Though I forewarn you, I'll be gone a good chunk of next week camping, so I might not be a whole lot of help until... after I get back.)

Yup, that sounds about right 8D The important thing is just the non-bias in attempts to be nice I guess. I've always been hesitant about sharing the entire thing because of criticism, but it's definitely time for me to drop that if I plan to make something multiple people will read u.u You can't be afraid to say like, "This is a completely pointless storyline and makes no sense 8|" because I'm willing to start the entire thing over from scratch if it's completely ridiculous XD

Curiously, does Diane have an instant messenger of some sort (AIM, MSN, or G-mail), or an e-mail address which you check often? Communicating via LJ definitely isn't convenient - I suppose worst case scenario, we can communicate via DA note...

It seems like S.R. is a major endeavor indeed! Looks like you've got a willing volunteer who won't be teaching two classes and graduating next year, but if you need a second set of eyes feel free to send me something. It might take me forever and a day to get back to you, but you can never have too much feedback, right?
