I can't find Paedar's contact info, but I figured this would be a nice spot to ask about the YA track for the Loncon, since I am probably not the only person interested.
Paedar, are you still on the committee for the YA track and if so, can you tell us what's going on? Please please please tell me Susan Cooper is coming and will be a panelist. I will write her tons of letters begging her to come if necessary.
Are there many YA authors coming and are there any events or panels related to the topic?
About the Hugo. Maid of W. (Christine) has offered to make us some kick-ass YA Hugo buttons to raise awareness. I thought we could pass them out to YA authors and panelists to get the word out. Even if there is strong opposition during the business meetings, I still think getting the word out is the most important thing.
