In the past month or so since I last wrote here I have been pretty busy. I...
- Saw Burishana (again) and Agents Of Abhorrence at the East. Pretty awesome show.
- Have worked something ridiculous like 2 shifts.
- Played a couple of Melbourne shows with some awesome and some terrible bands before the tour.
- The Cloud City benefit show happened. It was awesome. We actually played alright. My Disco were amazing. The afterparty was good too.
- Hung out with Molly SO much and it is amazing.
- Went on tour - had a fucking awesome time, Brisbane was so good. Hung out with all my favourite people, picnics, crazy drinking nights, lots of going out for breakfast and coffee. Sydney was also amazing, but a pretty short stay. The shows were incredible though, especially Paint It Black. Having Molly on tour with us pretty much ruled.
- Played our two launch shows in Melbourne, which people actually came to (totally unexpected, honestly).
- Went out for dinner a few times, including once at Vegie Bar for Bridget's 21st and once at Movida Tapas Bar with my family and Molly which were both really nice.
- Bought the On/Oxx 12" which is my favourite record of this year already.
- Grabbed the Tragic/Athletic and BigStrongBrute demos off Olly's computer... seriously, there must be something in the water up there, both are so good.
- Snuck into a movie without knowing what it was, turned out to be some terrible French film, ended up watching the whole thing though.
- Our EP was released.
- Started booking the La Quiete tour.
- Made a bunch of amazing new friends.
- Partied hard in Adelaide (and ate amazing sushi from King Sushi).
- Had my house infested by mice (not my parents house, the warehouse).
- Saw Against Me! for free - it was alright.
- Went to the end of Bridget's housewarming in time to see a dude getting a giant dick drawn on his face while he was passed out.
- Lost my memory stick that has photos on it from January - July and I'm fucking shattered about it.
- Rode my bike lots and lots and lots.
- Got a fine on a train 'cos I didn't buy a ticket... cunts. I'll get out of this.
- So much more that I wish I could remember right now but can't which is sad.
