I dunno how much longer I'm going to keep updating this thing, I am too busy to be bothered writing it all down. Gah.
The launch shows were amazing, loads of kids at both shows, heaps of fun, played decent sets at both. All the bands were great, too.
Meredith was amazing, as usual. Too hot and windy, but still really, really great. My Disco completely floored me. Other standouts were Band Of Horses, The Drones, Girltalk, Edan, Macromantics, Augie March and Tapes 'n' Tapes. Cornelius was also pretty great. Good bunch of kids I went down with this time, good times. Ecoplex cinema was a highlight, as was SO much Hare Krishna food.
Last night we played with Die!Die!Die! in Geelong to pretty much nobody. But it was still grrrrreat. We play with them again tonight in Bendio with Bang!Bang!Aids! and on Sunday at a house in Coburg (300 Bell Street, 6pm) with Majorca and Needletail. We are also playing Missing Link tomorrow evening at 5, come on down!
Today is ma's birthday, I got her a cookbook.
