How sad is it that the first episode of the original Gundam series is more entertaining and gripping to me than Gundam 00?
Damn it, I still mourn for those first two minutes of Gundam 00 that held so much potential. How can you go wrong with child soldiers fighting religious battles?! I mean, that's some heavy stuff right there. (And finding out that G00 was supposed to be a revisit of GW just makes it even sadder. Also, it explains all those hilarious parallels between the two series. I feel better knowing that, no matter what series he comes in, I still like Duo Maxwell. XD; Too bad they apparently kill his counterpart in G00 halfway through. Now I'm even less motivated to finish it...
...WAIT A MINUTE. He had a twin in G00! AHAHAHAHA. I can't believe Solo made it in there too...
Also, Wufei wears pink. The realization of this amuses me to no end.)
So far original Gundam is showing some neat potential, although the main character lacks survival instincts... And not in the same way as Heero Yuy does. He's... an engineering nerd who will stand there in the middle of a battle field reading Gundam specs... I mean, WTH kid?! Take the manual and run you bloody civilian you.
And the opening theme is so full of cheese, I may die of cholesterol before this whole thing is over. XD;
And it's creepy how close Zechs is modeled on the--- WHO THE HELL LEAVES ON AN UNGUARDED GUNDAM?!?!?!?! *facepalm*
