I survived!
I survived my first day of teaching. :D Huzzah~!
Didn't manage to fall asleep until like... 3:30am though. Damned nerves. I was going over lesson plans in my head while lying in bed, trying to sleep. That wasn't fun, especially since I had to get up at 7am.
Needless to say, I had a nap when I got home. =__=;;
First day went great though. There are 18 kids in my class, most of them in the 10-12 age range. I have a classroom of 16 little girls, and two lonely little boys. Luckily they seem to be pretty sober kids, and don't feel they have to compensate for the lack of testosterone in the class. XD;
I was afraid the kids were all going to be serious, and too "mature" to act silly with me. But we did some life drawing right before lunch, and I had people BEGGING to go up and model funny poses for the class. *pumps fist in the air* I love it when they do that.
So all in all? Great day. My feet and calves are killing me, but I had a great day. :D
...Now to survive five weeks of this! haha
And now I'm going to watch some Gundam Wing as a reward. :D
