so yeah i didnt get a chance to get any pics loaded yet.....
had a busy weekend. after startin sta with news on my dad, i had stuff i was wanting to do anyways so i still went on with my day. i bought a laptop!!!! yay me!!!! not a macbook but i'm still happy with it. it's a gateway (apparently thats important to tell about yer laptop, who knew? not i). and of course i bought a game and a wired mouse for my laptop to get started. so far it's working out well. currently i am ripping some of my cds onto my laptop!! yay me!! i's dune gots me sum technomology!! the macbook will have to wait for a bit yet. maybe once my car loan is complete.
speaking of car loan, i have less then oone year left on it!!!!!! its finished feb or march or even late as april (i'd haveto find the notice i recieved recently to be sure of which month) of 2010!!! oh boy oh boy oh boy!!
i still havent re-exmained my speech. i'll do that in a bit and prolly start typing it up so i can easily email it to karen and kelly when the time comes, which is pretty soon!!!! i have to get that present finished like ASAP and mailed!!! i want it there in time for the shower!! ok maybe i'll work on the present more then the speech today. yeah that would be smarter and more practical.
i dont know how matts meeting with the housing compan went, but i can kinda hear his voice talking to karyne so i may know whats up in a few days. but i think i just heard karyne cry so it sounds like sam may have to be shipped to karynes parents place in NS so they can keep this place for the next 1yr and a half and then they (matt&karyne) would be looking to get posted to the east coast anyways, but i cannot confirm that just a guess, i'll know whats up in a few days.
we pulled out our lawn chair (they served as our first furniture until the roomies furniture arrived) adn had a bbq!!! it was delicious!!! yes i missed out on some of the chillin with the gang stuff to call mom and get some updates adn then i caled kimmie to mostly let her know that mom may not be able to fill the standing waaffle order or help out with the shower but may be able to do it, depends on test results rite now. so not to count on anything. she totally understood, which i knew she would but i wanted to tell her, not that i needed to, but i felt an obligation to say it out loud to her and not say it in an email or a text. maybe it was my manners or just i figured any other way would be rude and like a slap in the face. its something i felt should be done more personally. i know i didnt have to she'd made the assumption already and an email or a text woulde sufficed but it felt rude to me.
i have just emailed my boss letting him know that i will be leaving the job and my last shift will be june 18th!!!! yay, more officalality!!!! yes i prolly made up that word. lol.
matt came home sat evening, much earlier then we thought and he brought home a head cold, well kinda, more like the tail end of it but still. i better not get it!!!!
ooohhhh!!! and here's new on my dorkdom (kinda like kim but i've had this one since i was born pretty much) i have seasons 1, 3 and 11 of M*A*S*H!!!!!! so i am missing 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. in the words of Wayne Campbell "oh yes it will be mine"! maybe not b4 my move but a lil at a time and i will have it!!
off to work on shower gift! and maybe speech.
