is winter over yet???
i'm sick of the cold. here in edmonton we got another cold snap!!!!! grrrrr!!! i thouhgt last weeks one would be the last but no!!!!!!! today is was -30 adn that not factoring in the windchill. it also broke something like 5 different weather related records!!!!! and apparently the usual weather for this time of year in this neck of the woods would be around -5!!!! wtf!!!!! someone turn on the heat eh?
i am goin to call h&r block tomorrow and make an appointment to get my taxes done. got my last t4 the other day!! yay!!! hopefully i dont owe anything! i always hope to just break even that way if i do get anything back its a lil surprise for me!
since i decided i'm moving back east, i actually cant wait too. this weather is driving me crazy. my job is agrivating me even more. and the lil things around the house are now even more annoying. blah. i dont wanna be inthe praries any more! but now is not the time to move back east and i already set a date which i am sticking to!!
on an up note tho, my roomies, soon-to-be former roomies but always friends, do have someone already lined up to move in my place. i've met him. he's a kewl guy. friend of erics they were in cadets together. he's been to a few house parties. not that i really care but its good to know they dont have to put up with a dick head and great that they wont be left in the lurch at all.
and no macbook yet....thats the big purchase i plan on b4 my move back.
no dress yet. ordered, still waiting for it to come in, but paid in full!! once i have it i will get a pic of it on me and post it for yas tho!!! that's kinda exciting!
still not sure excatly waht date i'll be departing, i'll have better idea in april. so stay tuned for that announcement. (heehee i feel like a newsperson)
i wanna have a party or one of the gang to have a party or at least a get together once i get home. maybe not a xmas in july but that would be awesome!!! think of it, xmas in july, i'm thinking pool side with xmas lights and maybe bbq instead of turkey. or even just a house party with xmas lights adn some decorations out adn watching xmas movies with wine and hands only food (no utensils required) it could even be a pot luck of some sort or something. i figure if i put it here someone/anyone may actually wanna do this or atleast voice opinions on what they'd be in on. i may talk to mom about this possibily happening at our house. depends if i get any feedback on here or not. so more later on this one too!
i've been bad. still havent started either speech for kimmies upcoming nupituals. i have some ideas for the wedding one, not tooo worried about that one. but the shower one, which karen is reading for my/onmy behalf.....i got nothing. no idea what it traditionally is or what/hw it should be. total blank. not sure whats appropriate. dont recall one, which is why i cant come up with ANY ideas on it. sooooooo opinions plz!!!
