dress is ordered!!!!
guess what?????? betcha guessed it from the subject.
last weekend (sat) i went on the hunt for my maid of honour dress for kimmies wedding. i knew she prefered the designer alfred angelo and her colour is burnt orange. so i had to either buy from his line or get one in a similar shade that his line has.
so the first wedding dress shop. it was kinda small and everything kinda seemed crammed up together. i tried on a dress similar to one i had been eyeing fromt he alfred angelo website but it was by aftersix and it didnt come in anything close to his burnt orange (which would be kimmies burnt orange) so no dice there. and the sales staff were stuck up so. they did tell me that the new alfred angelo dress i was lookin at on the website they should be gettin in next week, that it shoulda been in this week but the box got misplaced and is on some truck on the way but not sure where. but due to their being stuck up and kinda lookin down their nose at me, i wasnt goin to be coming back there unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
thankfully it wasnt.
dress shop 2: very wide open, carried not only dresses but favour stuff, decoration stuff, invites, guest books, etc. i tried on 2 diff alfred angelos there. both were blue in colour but i did see the burnt orange colour there as well as in the 1st store in other styles. but the frount didnt look rite. i tried on the style i love from the website and well the show dress they had was too big for me i got the idea of how it would look on me and i love it even more! so i ordered it!!!!! in correct size and colour!!!!! should be in late april but they usually give delieveries 2wks grace in case time so mid-may!!!! i'm very excited even tho kimmie was a dissappointment that day.

she took a nap and never replied to any texts i sent her till i was already home from my dress shopping adventure. if she hada txtd me back while i was at store 1 i woulda remembered to take a pic of the dresses i tried on and the one i ordered. but she didnt, so i didnt.
so check that one off the to-do list!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!!!

erics girlfriend jennifer (i nicknamed jenny-pooh) is goin to spend her spring break with us. she flies in friday evening. should be a lil fun.
i have an unexpected long weekend this weekend. monday in AB is family day! who knew??? and i heard the radio talking about the comin long weekend and assumed they were either drunk or refering to valentines (which isnt really a holiday nor does it make a long weeked). so my boss mentioned it yesterday and i was like what???!?!?!?! there's no holidays in februrary?!?!?!!?!?!??! so he told me about it. so i have monday off offically now!!! woot!!!! surprise long weekends are awesome!!!!
i mite be buying/getting a macbook early to mid-march. havent fully decided if i should put this purchase off or if i really dont wanna wait anymore. once it is bought tho, i can then be a lil more regular in posting!
