My first time
Well, I've never done an online journal thingy before. This should be fun. :) Today was a pretty typical day. I was off today - I work at Barnes & Noble. It's not bad, for what it is (a blood-sucking, creativity-destroying megagiant corporation). I at least like the people I work with.
I hung out with my s/o, Joe. We went to a pagan shop (Angelic Whispers in Lexington) that I've been wanting to find for a while. Bought some nice walking staffs, some incense, and a drum. And then we went to the fish store - one of my bulbs in my fishtank had gone out - and I've only had this tank for two months! I'd never been in this particular store and it rocks! Then I bought some clothes off the sale rack at my favorite clothing store and discovered that my credit card for the place is working again! Yay! I didn't have to spend any out of pocket money. I'll just have to pay for it later. But, it is the only credit card I own - not even a debit card for my bank account.
I finally did get a bank account, tho, after my home was broken into 16 months ago and the little bastard stole all my money out of my cigar box. *sigh* And the little whoremonger is 9 years younger than I - still in high school, in fact. Held a gun to me, he did (as I came home while he was still in my house) - not the most pleasant of experiences, I can assure you. He's a zit on the face of humanity. And got off too damn lightly, too.
And now I'm playing on the computer. I was reading the DorkTower comic (funny as hell, too!!!) and noticed this thing about LiveJournal - so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Nerdy as I am, I happen to like typing.
Oh - Joe's trying to put up our new curtains - I should go help. He does the laundry and dishes (every woman should be so lucky as I!!) - least I can do is help with the curtains.
