Last night was the awards ceremony at the Lodge. It also happened to be Woodley's birthday (i think he turned 76). I was glad to hear that his wife is doing better and should be transferred to the rehab center in Cary after her chemo treatments are done. There were a couple of guys who received their 50 and 60 year service award. The 60 year service award went to a guy who was born in 1919, and was raised in 1947. Dinner was really, really good. The Pilot Club who catered did an excellent job.
However, the reason i was there at all was because they presented Masonic Bibles to the newly-raised brethren. Only Aaron and i were there to receive them (which means the other six or seven were MIA). Once i realized what was in there, i was pretty psyched, because it has a ton of excellent (Masonic) information.
