Religion does not exist
Interesting read.
The idea: using a single R word to describe a juncture of cultural rituals, mythology, behavioral codes, and community identity is bad and misleading because its practitioners don't combine them in such a way. When people who study religion talk about the religion of people whose language includes no term for religion, the concept becomes questionable.
