(no subject)
Well my office almost burnt down today! There’s no fireplace in all the offices, so no Floo, and Ian Peterson in the office next to mine decided to set fire to some papers in a little rubbish bin and use it as a fire to make some toast on. Apparently this is against the office rules, and Maintenance was running around screaming and doing Extinguishing Spells. Then we all had to rush out of the building.
Hell of a lot of trouble to go through just to get a piece of toast, mind you! I told Ian he should just have used a Toasting Charm, but he said he was never any good at them and I said that he shouldn’t practice them when he’s anywhere near me, because I don’t want my hair Toasted. Then everyone had a drink down at the local pub.
I think I may go visit alice and frank again tomorrow at lunch. If that is okay with them. Is it okay? With you, I mean.
