COSPLAY UPDATE SO CLOSE I CAN TASTE IT

jacket- working on, 78% - what I said would be tackled days ago was replaced by both shirts for my other costumes. NOW I have spray-starch, and NOW I have the fur cut out, BY GOD I AM KILLING THIS BLASTED JACKET.
wig & cap- done 100%
pants- done 100%

boots- done 100%

OVERALL COMPLETION: 93%
MASIRA- Done 100%

So, I have discovered that while copious amounts of fray-check may keep fabric from further fraying, it does NOT keep it from further ripping YEOWCH. So, last-minute hand sewing a rip because I have no time to do anything fancier and that shouldn't show up on pictures anyway cuz it's pretty small. Lesson learned: I have to pull my pants legs up like I'm wearing a dress when I sit down in my Masira overalls. Oh by the way the rip happened between two of the tatters on the end of the leg, not anywhere embarrassing like my ass... just have to be careful with the tail hole now >8O

Got all my travel supplies today, oil change, the whole shebang. Only thing I have left to do before I leave is to get my hair cut (somehow *fistshakey at Emily. doesn't wanna talk about it*) and withdraw funds from my bank accouuunt~ how much my grandma put in there? >> Let's say I get zip for birthday and Christmas and leave it at that.
Oh well I guess I also have to prepare my meals, sort my clothes and supplies, pack according to sorting, check and re-check my checklist, clean out my car, and probably a whole big handful of stuff that I can't remember right now.
I believe I am very tired and... will tackle the jacket first thing when I wake up. x_x aka, several hours after my eyes have opened from sleep, that is, when I am truly awake and not just conscious.
