Yeah, so, I've spent the past four days reading Hunter x Hunter.
... WHY IS THERE ANOTHER HIATUS? orz.
But really, I think I'm addicted to the series. I mean. The fighting shots are so clean and easy to follow, and then the art is cute when it has to be, but also disgusting too. Actually, the only thing I find bad about the series is the random changes in art quality. I mean, sometimes it looks so detailed and beautiful, and then the next page, it's like a three-year-old drew it. >.>
AND THEN THERE'S THE CHARACTERS.
Like Killua. God, I loved him the moment I saw him. It's not just because he's so adorable and yes. hot, and it's not because he's capable of killing so simply either. It's because of this and this. Of course, this is when Killua risks his all to protect Gon during Gon's date. And I mean, it wasn't because his opponent was hard or anything, it was because he was going against his teachings and instincts for Gon.
That scene just killed me. Because of his dedication and devotion towards Gon; towards his best friend. ♥
My reasons for loving Hisoka and Kurapika? Uh. nothing really, just look at them. Hisoka is hot. Even with his queer makeup.He makes clowns/jesters just a little less scary for me. And Kurapika's so pretty~! why yes, I am shallow. what about it?xD
AND THE RYODAN. OR MORE PRECISELY, SHALNARK AND FEITAN. God, I love how smart Shalnark is. I mean, smart was always sexy, but he takes it to new heights. It's so amusing when he's hurt too. He's all "oh, I got hurt. oh well, I expected it." LIKE NO PANICKING OR ANYTHING. XD
...And I want his phone.
Feitan? He's short♥. Not to mention sadistic. And the best part about him? He jokes around with Shalnark.x3
