At the risk of being accused of further pedantry, I believe the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe said that his bones were actually tougher than most people's -- or mutant's. I think, of the "reasonably-powered" supers, only Quicksilver (and mmmaybe Beast or [the original] Toad) has bones as tough or tougher than Angel's.

Wolverine doesn't count 'cause he has implants.
