I don't know about this whole "men are lazy" hypothesis. It seems like very unlazy men want the submissive sex kitten as well (doctors, lawyers, anyone who has the money to support another person, etc.). Unless what you're saying is that men are inherently lazy only in relationships, which might be valid, but it still begs the question "why?" I suppose evolution can be blamed. Men want women who seem fertile and all that. But things have changed. Women, generally, do not go after the burliest "protector" men. Women are stereotyped as going after money...which is another form of protection, I acknowledge, but it's a modified evolutionary desire. Maybe there is no real motive to do so. Statistically, women who work outside the home are more likely to cheat...so it's evolutionarily in a man's best interests to keep his woman at home (so she can't be impregnated by another man). Women don't have this concern. Also, the hunt for a great body seems just like a hunt for a healthy partner (which helps ensure healthy offspring). But women are now less concerned with a man's body type....lss concerned than men are with women's body types anyway. Is it that the protection that comes from money far outweighs the benefits of a healthy parter? Money would provide access to the best health care.
Also: we need to eat and chat sometime this semester. It is almost November and I have yet to see you. This is probably due to my laziness. Pick a couple dates when you're free and we'll make plans to have dinner. I will try my best not to sleep through them.
