god of progress

I have decided to start believing in a god. I need there to be a direction and purpose to all of this. And believing that something is there because I need it to be is just the sort of thing to start one on a religious path.

As of yet, it's just an external force. I have not incorperated an afterlife or absolute morality, but I'll keep you updated on my progress.
