High point of the day: Prof. Bhavsar photocopied my homework in PHY 306 and distributed it as "the solutions" (with permission). Oh yeah.
Low point: I woke up this morning, for no apparent reason, at 7am and couldn't go back to sleep. I needed to be up by 8:20...so I lost roughly an hour and a half of sleep. But it wasn't all that bad; I used the time to make myself oatmeal and 4 cups of tea. It's kinda nice to have lots of time to sit around drinking tea before you have to be anywhere.
Also, I've decided that I generally dislike the other physics students. Mainly the ones who join the Society of Physics Students. And mainly Elaphe. He has a way of subtly putting people down and stealing their credit to puff himself up. He also tends to lie every other sentence. Gah. This is not a sudden realization, but we had a meeting yesterday and he spent much of the time implying that we're (the other physics majors) idiots for thinking any of our classes are remotely difficult (this coming from a guy who gets Bs-Es in many of his physics classes), and then he stole an idea (to get professors to come and explain their work every couple of weeks) from me and claimed it as his own. Gah. I also have a distrust for the 1st year who's in both my physics classes this semester. And I know it's mainly that I have issues with "prodigies," or people who seem to be working faster than me. He seems nice enough though...I just have problems with competition. People in PHY 404 last semester probably felt the same way about me.
